Road safety awareness actions during the summer peak season
Since 2015, Dreher Breweries have had an ongoing partnership with the Veszprém County Police Department, which works around Lake Balaton, a popular Hungarian summer vacation destination. Together with Dreher, they regularly organise road safety awareness actions to call car drivers’ attention to zero tolerance when it comes to drinking and driving.
In 2021 and 2022, during the summer peak season, the police held two road controls per year, where Dreher 24 0,0% non-alcoholic products were given away as gifts to those drivers who had a negative breathalyzer test result. Over these two years, thanks to the cooperation, with the important message of never drinking and driving, Dreher and the police reached more than 5,742 car drivers (plus their passengers).
