Study and Prevention Plan

Owners : Dutch Chamber of Student Associations
Stakeholders : Dutch Brewers Association, Ministry of Health, Youth and Alcohol Foundation, local stakeholders
As part of the National Prevention Agreement – which the Dutch Brewers Association, the Dutch Chamber of Student Associations and the Ministry of Health (and other organisations) are partners – each university town is setting up a Study and Prevention Plan. This plan is supported and executed by relevant local stakeholders like the (local chamber of) student associations, the university, the student desk of the Red Cross and/or the municipality. Each local plan is adjusted to the local situation and mainly consists of signalling problems, sharing best practices and finding solutions. The roll-out of the plans falls under the coordination of the Dutch Chamber of Student Associations and the Youth and Alcohol Foundation. The Dutch Brewers Association or individual brewers support the local execution by providing best practices about serving and promoting non-alcoholic beer and by organising promo actions for student associations (for example by sampling non-alcoholic beers during exam weeks or the introduction period for new students).
