Owners : Asahi
Stakeholders : Sananim NGO

Czech brewer Plzensky Prazdroj, together with the NGO Sananim, supported the development and launch of a smartphone, SMS and web application called Promile Info to educate consumers on the relative strengths of alcohol and the impact on blood alcohol content (BAC), and to provide them with an easy way to track their consumption.
Promile Info provides an estimate of the BAC and the time by which this level should fall to 0%, and also information about the effects and any potential risks associated with the current level of alcohol. The calculation is based on the consumer´s information about their sex, age, weight and the time, type and amount of alcohol consumed. In its first four years of operation, the Promile Info service responded to over 400,000 consumer queries, with one-third of the people using the service repeatedly. In 2013, The European CSR Award publically recognised the program by awarding it second place, ahead of 34 other projects from 27 large companies. In 2015, 8,530 people were reached on Facebook and 5894 people engaged with the tool. Between 2019 and 2020 more than 8,800 people downloaded the Promile Info mobile app. In 2022, the Promile Info service continues in the form of a mobile app for Android and an online calculator available for free at www.napivosrozumem.cz. The service is also promoted during summer music festivals to help prevent drink-driving.
Since 2018, a new Promile Info mobile application has also been available in Slovakia which replaced the previous ProMile and ProMileLady applications.
