Good marketing practices and interpretation of the Danish Code of Practice for Alcohol

Since 2013, lectures on good marketing practices and especially the interpretation of the Danish Code of Practice for Alcohol for companies, consumer organisations, higher learning institutions, marketing networks and other interested parties have been organised by the Alcohol Advertising Board ( “Bryggeriforeningen is a permanent member”). The lectures are free and the idea is to give all interested parties a chance to receive further information on the interpretation and actual use of the Code.

In addition, the Alcohol Advertising Board and the Consumer Ombudsman publish newsletters on current topics. In the autumn of 2021, prior to the reopening post-COVID-19, the Alcohol Advertising Board and the Consumer Ombudsman launched “10 marketing tips for discos and nightclubs”. The purpose of the 10 tips for nightclubs was specially to create an increased focus on protecting children and young people and with concrete advice to ensure that the guidelines for marketing of alcohol are followed.
