Don’t be angry, prove yourself

This joint preventive programme managed by producers and distributors of alcohol aims to reduce the availability of alcohol to minors and minimize cases where alcohol is sold to persons under the legal drinking age by rigorously checking the age of the shopper. A project started in 2013 under the name ´Člověče, Nezlob Se´ (Don´t Be Angry, Man) and in 2019 changed to ´Nezlob se, prokaž se´ (Don’t be angry, prove yourself).
The programme provides training materials for alcohol retailers created on the basis of in-depth interviews with salespersons. The main benefit of the project is its complexity because it targets everyone, including alcohol retailers and their customers. A joint memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Trade and Tourism Association of the Czech Republic in 2020 and the Association of Czech Traditional Trade in 2022. A new virtual training programme for alcohol retailers was created in 2022 to educate retail staff in a modern and funny way.
