An update of the Alcohol Advertising Board website (www.alkoholreklamenaevnet.dk) supported by the Danish Brewers’ Association, Bryggeriforeningen was conducted in 2013.

The Code of Practice for marketing of alcohol is updated on an ongoing basis to ensure that the guidelines are in line with the present view on alcohol marketing. The Code of Pratice for marketing of alcohol was updated in 2021.

For the Alcohol Advertising Board, it is an important task to guide private individuals, businesses and partners on how the guidelines for marketing of alcohol should be applied. Therefore, in 2021, the Alcohol Advertising Board has issued newsletters and press releases that aim to inform about current cases and provide guidance on the guidelines for marketing alcohol. The topic has primarily been marketing of alcohol targeted children and young people, as well as marketing that encourage the consumers to consume large amounts of alcohol.
